Made with 100% recycled post-consumer plastic
Our towels are made from recycled polyester, commonly known as rPet. This is a woven fabric made from post consumer plastics, such as single use plastic bottles. Recycled polyester gives a second life to a material that’s not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean. According to the NGO Ocean Conservancy, 8 million metric tons of plastic enter the ocean every year. If we keep this pace, by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Something needs to be done.
Why is rPet so much better?
It creates a demand for post-consumer plastic, whilst diverting waste that was destined for landfills or, unfortunately, our oceans.
Using recycled materials uses far less petroleum in the manufacturing process.
There is significantly less energy used in order to produce recycled fabric as opposed to virgin fibres. 90% less water, 70% less energy and 75% less carbon emissions to be precise.
Recycled polyester allows for the creation of new jobs, as the recycling process needed to create the new fabrics requires manpower for the various steps involved.

100% Recycled Material
Our towels are made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic. Not only are they extremely soft with a pleasant feel, but they are eco-friendly too.

There's nothing worse than getting out the sea and realising your ordinary beach towel is covered in sand. Luckily, with one swift flick, our towels are completely sand free.
Quick Drying
Our towels dry three times faster than a traditional cotton towel. Never put a damp towel back into your bag again. It dries so much quicker, it will be ready to be packed and off to the next adventure in no time at all.
Super Absorbent
Our towels can absorb eight times the amount of water than a conventional towel. That means you can spend more time relaxing and less time drying off after a cool swim.
Odour Free
Every traveller knows the pains of a bad smelling towel. Constantly moving around from place to place just doesn’t quite give the ordinary towel time to dry. Well, it’s time to let damp, smelly towels become a thing of the past.

Our towels are big enough to fit the whole you. At 180cm x 90cm, they are the perfect size for that lazy day at the beach.
Material
Our towels are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, which equates to around 22 single use plastic bottles.
Design
The market is flooded with generic striped beach towels, and we wanted something different. Our unique towels have been designed by travellers, for travellers.
